Cold weather roofing

Cold weather roofing is not ideal but if you have an emergency or your situation requires it for other reasons, it can be done Safely and without any compromise of job quality or performance of the Shingle. 

There is no upper or lower temperature governing when asphalt fiberglass shingles may be applied, as long as appropriate precautions are taken.
Such as having material stored in a warm place overnight , and loaded on the roof a few bundles at a time.
Adhesive will also have to be applied to edges.

Metal and Cedar material are not susceptible to temperature fluctuations and can be applied anytime.

Things to Consider

• The job will take longer. 
• Shingles might look bumpy, or wavy till warm weather returns. This will not affect performance of the shingle. Patience is needed, but be assured they will lay flat.
• Be prepared to find debris in the yard when the snow melts. This is unavoidable but Tarps can be laid to minimize this.
